Three cards are shown, one with a blue diamond and the other two with red diamonds. All the spectator has to do is find the card with the blue diamond. If he finds it, he wins a dollar. If he's wrong, he loses a dollar. Before long, he has lost seven dollars! For double or nothing, the spectator is shown one blue diamond card and one red diamond card, and asked to guess the color of the diamond on the third card. Of course the spectator guesses it is red, and of course he is wrong- the third card has a green "$14"- because the spectator owes $14!

DOUBLE WHAMMY

The magician has 10 cards. The magician gives spectator 5 cards. Spectator places one of his/her cards on top of the magician’s stack of cards without looking at the card. Magician also chooses one of his/her cards and places it on the spectator’s stack of cards without looking at the card. Both the magician and the spectator place the cards behind their backs and reverse the top card. Now both the magician and the spectator cut the cards and then bring the cards out from behind their backs. Both the magician and spectator fan their cards and reveal one card face up. The cards match! But wait; turn over the remaining cards to show that the spectator and magician picked the only 2 odd cards in the stack.
